Daventry District has a population of some 74,000 and is located in the East Midlands in the UK. Its main town of Daventry has a population of 23,000. Despite its relative small size it is has a Council with a distinct future vision about its transit. This vision is well and truly focused on Personal Rapid Transit. Daventry this month hosted a conference with 187 delegates to discuss the possibility of introducing a state-of-the-art public transport system to the town. Read about Daventry's effort here | |
