North Shore Busway declared a hit |

Appearing in the local news, the North Shore times, the busway has been declared a hit with a 48% increase in patronage over the same time last year. From February to May, 858,682 passengers were carried on express buses running exclusively on the busway.
North Shore City Council infrastructure and environment committee chairman Ken McKay says the busway’s efficiency and reliability can best be appreciated
during morning and evening peak hours when buses speed past the
crawling traffic on the northern motorway.
